[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On September 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM, the <\/span>press conference<\/b> for the presentation of the project<\/span> “A Piccoli Passi”<\/b> took place, funded under DDG No. 254\/2023 as part of the Public Notice for funding projects from the resources of the PNRR – Mission 5 – Component 3 – Investment 3 – Structured socio-educational interventions to combat educational poverty in the South in support of the Third – Agency for Territorial Cohesion.<\/span><\/p>\n

“A Piccoli Passi” is a <\/span>project<\/b> aimed at addressing the <\/span>issues of educational poverty<\/b> in the project’s partner municipalities: Ragusa, Santa Croce Camerina, Monterosso, Giarratana, and Chiaramonte Gulfi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project was designed with the <\/span>goal of promoting equal educational opportunities<\/b> for children aged 0-6 years, attending nurseries and preschools in district 44.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference began with an address by<\/span> Pinuccia Raniolo<\/span>,<\/b> President of the Medi Care cooperative, the lead organization. The floor was then handed over to <\/span>Nello Aprile<\/b>, <\/span>project coordinator<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were followed by greetings from representatives of the authorities of the municipalities in health and social district No. 44, including <\/span>Mayor of Ragusa<\/b>, the lead municipality, Attorney <\/span>Giuseppe Cass\u00ec<\/b>, and <\/span>Dr. Elvira Adamo<\/b>, <\/span>Councilor<\/b> for Inclusion Policies, Social Services, and Equal Opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the Press Conference, the <\/span>project<\/b> was presented, including its <\/span>objectives<\/b>, <\/span>planned activities<\/b>, <\/span>proposed actions<\/b>, and the <\/span>role<\/b> of each partner.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the <\/span>Paideia Italia cooperative<\/b>, responsible for training, Dr. Tonino Solarino<\/span>,<\/b> presented the <\/span>cross-cutting training program<\/b> that will involve operators, teachers, and parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Social Cooperative Filotea<\/b>, responsible for mediation, will be in charge of activities related to <\/span>cultural mediation and animation services<\/b> for foreign minors and families, with a specific focus on the roles of cultural mediators.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, discussions were held on <\/span>synergies<\/b> and possible <\/span>collaboration<\/b> with the <\/span>educational institutions<\/b> involved in the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

To support the initiative, both the <\/span>website<\/b> www.progettoapiccolipassi.it<\/span><\/a>, which also contains additional materials, and the <\/span>APP<\/b> “APPiccolipassi” were presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the latter, parents will have access to a <\/span>service directory<\/b> for municipalities in health and social district 44, as well as <\/span>information<\/b> and the ability to book services provided by the project with just a click.<\/span><\/p>\n
